Chart notes
PLAYING FOR TWO quickly engaged the runner-up while tapering in, dueled to even terms toward the three eighths pole and took the nod past the pole, drew clear into the turn and was steadily handled to hold on. EMBERLY set a pressured early pace then dueled from the three eighths pole, dropped back into the turn and finished evenly. RIVER REWARDS RVF chased through the backstretch, entered the turn near the rail, drifted into the lane and finished evenly. BUCKIN' GREAT gave chase, rounded the turn in the five and six paths and ran evenly in the stretch. WOODSONG'S CASTLE angled to the outside while giving early chase then angled to the inside on the turn and showed little in the lane. PHAT CHANCE FANCY chased outside, raced in the four path on the turn and weakened in the lane.
