THAT GIRL ARTEMUS settled off the leaders racing outside mid-pack, advanced willingly into the far turn, began to move rapidly past the three-eighths when put to urging, took over near the quarter pole, drew clear in upper stretch under urging, appeared to weaken in the late stages but held safe. ZONING ORDER tucked in tracking in behind the pacesetter and eventual winner inside saving ground through the first turn, was in the clear up the backstretch in pursuit of the leader, moved out on the far turn joined by an outside foe in pursuit of the lead, kept on in the stretch well enough to hold the place while just second best. MAKAYLA settled off the pace two to three wide in the early going, moved out a bit up the backstretch racing mid-pack, was three to four deep on the far turn and put to urging past the five-sixteenths, kept on one-paced while best of the rest. LADIES RUM tracked from inside off the pace, saved ground through both turns on or just off the rail, moved out a bit in the stretch and kept on evenly. WILD QUEENIE saved ground inside through the first turn unhurried at the back, switched out up the backstretch, advanced outside fanning seven wide into the stretch, ran on mildly to gain position late. SPIRIT O'TIPPERARY broke just a half-step slowly, advanced outside four to five up the back stretch and far turn, flattened out in the stretch. INITTOWINIT was close up very early then stalked from outside a rival mid-pack racing two to four deep through the early going, angled six wide turning for home still in range of the leader, had no late bid. ORIGINAL ME tucked in early racing toward the back, was mostly two to three wide and not a factor. PENNYJET was encouraged forward from the break, soon made the lead and set the pace in the clear shifting to be just off the rail in the two to three path, was overtaken on the far turn, faltered in upper stretch and faded.
