AMERICAN GAMBLE had a good spot sitting behind the contesting trio while between runners in the early stages, patiently waited, looking for clear running room at the top of the stretch, found another gear bursting between rivals at the eighth pole finding a lane three wide and wore down runners in the final seventy yards for the gutsy win. KNOW HOW (GB) broke out on the break, settled in the two path close to the back of the pack down the backside, closed in watching the front three fighting up top while travelling three wide between horses in the second flight through the turn, angled out five wide posing the main threat at the top of the lane, could not go with the winner who had a smart turn of foot late but did run on nonetheless and got up for second money at the wire. FRERET shadowed the pacesetter on the outside down the backside, vied between runners up front in the two path around the turn, poked his head in front at the top of the stretch, edged away briefly by the eighth pole but could not fend off the winner and the runner up in deep stretch, settling for a clear third in the end. DREAMING OF AUDREY settled on the fence in mid-division watching the front three up top, continued to save ground keeping a close eye on the three rivals battling for the lead around the turn, lacked running room behind the leaders in upper stretch two wide, shifted out finally having clear run in the five path at the furlong pole and finished up with good energy late for a minor role in the end. BIG GINGER settled in midfield four deep down the backside, moved to prompt the pace three wide on the outside around the bend, was in the mix four wide straightening out for home, could not continue the run late and evened out in the final furlong. TAYLORMOON was unhurried trailing down the backside, was well back of the field throughout the running around the turn, angled out six wide for the drive and showed some late interest to pass some tired foes in deep stretch. MI TORMENTA stalked near the back of the pack ahead of only one runner along the backside, put in a mild rally taking closer order going the overland route four wide tracking the lead three through the turn, had a chance for a share of the prize six wide at the top of the lane but emptied out by upper stretch. SIGNATURE RING was brushed inside on the start, had a quick turn of foot early on leading this field down the backside, was headed outside at the three eighths marker, dueled stubbornly on the rail trying to hold the lead through the turn, had nothing left for the stretch drive and folded on the fence in upper stretch.
