Chart notes
OVERNIGHT POW WOW took an immediate lead and moved in to rate the pace, kept the edge over Moonlit Kiss leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was pressured into the far turn then kept alert through the lane. LONA LEE settled inside on the first turn, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn about the three path, dug in leaving the turn and dueled through the final sixteenth for second. MOONLIT KISS lunged leaving the gate then stalked off the rail, challenged the winner leaving the seven sixteenths pole and raced close off the rail on the far turn, but was outfinished for second in a duel through the final sixteenth. O K SMARTY PANTS rounded the opening turn off the rail, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn then flattened in the lane. SAFFRON raced well back off the rail the first turn then gave chase to no avail leaving the half mile pole.
