Chart notes
IN WITHOUT KNOCKIN squeezed at the start, was away slowly and settled inside of runners into the first turn, content to trail through the backstretch run, saved all of the ground into the far turn, navigated traffic into upper stretch and continued her steady advance nearing the furlong grounds, split rivals approaching the sixteenth-pole, made a quick move to take command into deep stretch and edged away late. MAMARANDO broke alertly, took back off of the early pace, saved ground into the first turn, well placed through the backstretch run, saved ground into the far turn, tipped two to three wide into upper stretch and vied between rivals at the furlong marker, took a narrow lead past mid-stretch, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and held for second. MISS PERU forwardly placed away from the start, settled just off of the early pace and tracked two wide into the first turn, well placed through the backstretch run, mounted a three then four wide bid into the far turn, continued that bid into the stretch and vied for the lead at the furlong pole, was outkicked into the final sixteenth, missed for second at the finish and was clear in the end for third. LOOKOUT PASS settled outside of rivals into the first turn, unhurried through the backstretch run while never far back, slipped to the inside entering the far turn, mounted an inside rally into the stretch and came within range nearing the furlong marker, could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth and weakened late. DIXIE ROSE LEE sent to assume early command, set the pace off of the rail into the first turn, carved out modest fractions through the backstretch run, shook free into the far turn and drew clear nearing the quarter pole, came under pressure into upper stretch, dug in and held foes at bay nearing the furlong pole, was overtaken past mid-stretch and yielded in the final sixteenth. MOON RUSH prominent away from the start, prompted the early pace outside of DIXIE ROSE LEE, attended to the modest pace through the backstretch run, lost position into the far turn and stopped into upper stretch, was eased through the final furlong and walked off under her own power. The timing splits for this race were as follows: 24.79, 49.02, 114.09, 141.22.
