Chart notes
RUNNING BEE tracked the leader from the two path in closest aim, remained patiently handled until set down angled four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, dug in under a drive head to head to the finish and prevailed gamely on the wire. BIG EVEREST (GB) established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, got let out spinning three wide into upper stretch, dug in under lone threat and was collared a furlong out, fought on gamely inside through to the finish. FORT WASHINGTON chased two to three wide from the tail of the field, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled out five to six wide into upper stretch, closed well to secure the show honors. ST ANTHONY tracked the front just off the inside from mid pack, came under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. HE'SPUREGOLD tracked along the inside coming under urging three furlongs from home, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. SKY'S NOT FALLING forwardly placed three wide through the first turn, chased three wide, came under brief coaxing near the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, got placed to a protective hold and was eased home through to the finish, then got pulled up after the wire and was walked to the main track and transported off the course via equine ambulance and subsequently reported to have bled.
