Chart notes
CARNACK ON TOUR in contention early from outside, saved ground on the turn, rallied along the rail to gain the advantage inside the last eighth, was clear with a sixteenth left and kept BUBBY BOY at bay under steady handling. BUBBY BOY was sent to dispute the pace outside ULTIMATE FIGHTER, did not stay with that one leaving the turn but took over second inside the final sixteenth. DOUBLE DRIBBLE bumped from the rear at the break, was prominent just outside BUBBY BOY, came four wide into the stretch, could only make up minor ground late but caught ULTIMATE FIGHTER for third. ULTIMATE FIGHTER vied for the lead from inside, moved clear leaving the turn, drifted out slightly upper stretch and gradually wore down from between horses. FLYHERBFLYHIGH hesitated at the start, advanced from inside, angled out five wide at the top of the stretch and showed a willingness to run late. HALF THE BATTLE moved to the inside with a half mile to go and lacked a significant stretch bid. RAYFIELD bumped with DOUBLE DRIBBLE at the start, moved to the outside early on, angled out widest at the top of the lane and also showed some late interest.
