C F V BULLET uncooperative in the post parade and fractious in the gate, stalked the earl pace from just outside once the race began, took over when allowed into the second bend, was under steady urging in the stretch and held sway. MYSTIC POWER broke inward, bumping BOOGIE BODE, advanced from outside to be prompt the early speed, came four wide into the lane, took over second and was closing the gap on the leader deep stretch. ATKINS chased from midpack, progressed four wide on the second bend, lost further ground fanning outside MYSTIC POWER entering the stretch, rallied belatedly inside the final furlong but caught RUNNINGFORCASH for third. RUNNINGFORCASH fractious in the gate, soon had the lead from inside once the race began, was challenged from outside leaving the first turn, did not stay with C F V BULLET into the second bend and flattened out two wide in the stretch. CODE RUNNER chased from between horses, improved position just off the rail on the second turn, was three wide entering the lane then was jostled and forced in some from upper stretch to inside the sixteenth marker. BEEALEA well back early, progressed four wide on the second turn, started lugging in upper stretch and jostled CODE RUNNER until inside the last sixteenth. BOOGIE BODE bumped at the break, was forwardly placed toward the outside, had the rail on the second turn and began to fade before finishing six furlongs. MILLARD'S SMILE bumped shortly after the start, soon trailed from inside, angled out some to advance on the second turn, swung to the outside entering the stretch and failed to have a significant response. KARAYEL was hustled along after breaking on top, had the inside on the backstretch and gave way on the second turn. KHOZAN'S VALENTINE very reluctant to load, was a factor just behind KARAYEL for a half mile then faded.
