Chart notes
MY TWO AUNT JOANS was reserved off the early pace, rallied two-wide into the stretch and was up in the final sixteenth to win going away. IF WE GET LUCKY saved ground setting the pace, settled into the stretch with a clear lead but was unable to resist the winner in the late stages but held on fairly well for second. APACHE was allowed to settle early, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. KOSCIUSZKO bobbled at the start then saved ground tracking the early pace, angled out to be four-wide entering the stretch but lacked a rally. BEACH FRONT was unhurried early, swung out to be five-wide entering the stretch and failed to menace. K W CAPTAIN HOOK prompted IF WE GET LUCKY early while racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and tired. FRISCO LINE dropped back while saving ground and failed to be a factor.
