Chart notes
CHOCOLATE RABBIT broke in hitting the side of the gate to get away behind the field then moved up along the inside to race close-up to the pace, slipped through to take the lead nearing the quarter pole, drifted out slightly entering the stretch and drew clear late. VISUAL MISSION hopped slightly at the start then racing in the middle of the field, came three-wide into the stretch, angled further out nearing the eighth pole and finished strongly for the place. PRIVATE DRIVE was prominently placed early, came five-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. SPIN DOCTOR saved ground while being reserved off the pace, slipped through to offer a bid nearing the eighth pole and then flattened out during the drive. THE PINK Z set the pace while racing slightly off the rail, came three-wide into the stretch and weakened. NAMBITI broke in the air then was unhurried and failed to threaten. POWERFUL PHIL prompted the early pace while three-wide and tired. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQYUIRY INTO THE RUNNING OF THE RACE BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH,
