Chart notes
UNION COACH showed good speed away from the start, set decent fractions while well handled into the turn, repelled challenges leaving the quarter pole and extended the lead into upper stretch, kicked clear past the furlong marker and widened the lead in the final stages. ROSE OF JERICHO tracked the decent early pace from outside of rivals, was well placed while four wide into the turn, swung widest into upper stretch, could not impact the winner late and outfinished OUTRAGEOUS to earn place honors. OUTRAGEOUS bobbled leaving the start and was a step slow to begin, rushed up between rivals in the early stages and stalked the decent pace heading to the half-mile pole, chased three wide nearing the quarter marker, was repelled into upper stretch, outkicked into the final sixteenth, was overtaken in the final strides for second and held clearly for third. OUTER SUNSET allowed to settle, trailed into the turn, went three to four wide nearing the quarter pole and lacked a late response. WARREN'S WILD RIDE tracked the decent early pace from the inside, was well placed into the turn, loomed nearing the quarter marker, could not sustain that run into the stretch and weakened.
