Chart notes
COME OUT FIGHTING tracked the decent early pace from the inside, saved ground into the turn and was well placed nearing the quarter pole, mounted an inside bid into upper stretch and vied for the lead approaching the furlong marker, took command at mid-stretch, kept to task and dug in into the final sixteenth, held foes at bay into deep stretch and lasted in the final yards for a determined win. NOVINOPHOBIA settled just off of the early pace, tracked outside of rivals approaching the turn, bid four wide nearing the quarter pole, went widest into upper stretch and vied for the lead at the furlong marker, gamely battled into the final sixteenth, was outfinished by his stablemate in deep stretch and got up for second in the final strides. EL GALLITO prominent leaving the start, stalked the decent early pace outside of LAST BABY, advanced into the turn and pressed that rival while three wide nearing the quarter pole, vied for the lead into upper stretch then took a slim advantage approaching the furlong grounds, lost the lead at mid-stretch but fought on into the final sixteenth, grudgingly gave way in deep stretch and just missed for second, while well clear in the end for third. LAST BABY broke alertly and was hustled to the early lead, set a decent pace while showing the way to the half-mile marker, was confronted into the turn and set a pressured pace heading to the quarter marker, battled for the lead while between rivals into upper stretch, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and weakened in the late stages. UNBRIDLED RHYTHM allowed to settle while never far back, tracked outside of rivals approaching the turn then moved to chase between runners at the three-eighths pole, shifted four wide into upper stretch, ran evenly to the furlong marker and could not muster a late rally. KAMAINA CRUISER ducked in at the start and spotted the field to begin, trailed into the turn, was able to make up ground in the stretch drive but could not threaten the leaders late. REGAL REDWOOD chased the decent early pace from the inside, lost position into the turn, could not keep pace into the stretch and tired in the final furlong.
