Chart notes
RITE ON SAM lacked early speed, moved up entering the home stretch, split rivals and got up late. IT'S A SECRET unhurried in the early going, came around the second turn on the outside, made a wide gain and finished willingly. WE CALL HIM DOC raced within striking distance, behind the top two, angled out entering the final stretch and made a mild bid, racing four wide. STAR APRIORITY dueled on the front end, saved ground and weakened. TRIPS TO WIN raced near the middle of the field, saved ground around the second turn and lacked a late kick. CALL ME RIP vied for the early advantage, raced outside around the first turn and was finished early. BACKFIRE trailed throughout and showed little.
