Chart notes
PRINCESA CELINA broke alertly to take command from the gate, set a pressured pace for a half mile, kicked clear in upper stretch, drifted out to engage the closer inside the sixteenth pole and held that one off gamely in a well handled ride. MY SUZIE Q unhurried for the first quarter mile to trail, rallied five wide on the turn making a steady gain, closed well through the lane and was denied late by the winner to be second best in a good effort. HONORABLE WOMAN reserved off the pace down the backside, made a steady advance midway on the turn and was along for the show. SACOS STOGIE pressed the pace from the on-set dueling with the winner to the quarter pole, could not go with that one in the lane and weakened through the drive. GRACIE DANCE raced mid-pack and lacked a closing bid. LADY GIULIANA was not a threat. MY BEST DAY EVER hustled up the fence to stalk the pace down the backstretch and faded on the turn.
