Chart notes
HYACINTH BUCKET moved close up inside, faded briefly on the turn, angled in rallying in the stretch and was up late. DREAMINGOFFREEDOM outrun early, moved wide on the turn, drifted in slightly in the lane. PAINT ME BEAUTIFUL stalked pace outside, led into the stretch then weakened in the final furlong. BAHAMIAN BABY moved close up outside then flattened out in the stretch. PICARDY advanced wide on the turn, steadied at sixteenth pole and faded. DIXIE MUSIC dropped far behind and was never in contention. OUR LADY IN RED sprinted clear in the opening furlong, then stopped after half mile. Following a stewards inquiry and objections by the rider of PICARDY against the second and third finishers, DREAMINGOFFREEDOM was disqualified and placed fifth.
