Chart notes
SISTER WINNIE stalked off the rail the first turn, challenged at the seven sixteenths pole and took the nod at the three eighths, dueled clear two deep midway on the far turn and was kept alert in the lane. PHILMARY CASTLE moved to the inside and rated the early pace, came under pressure at the seven sixteenths pole, was met at the three eighths and gave close chase from that point, but dropped back midway on the far turn and settled for second best. MISS ARGENTINA stalked the early pace inside, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole and raced in the three and four paths on the far turn, then flattened in the stretch. KEY TO THE CASTLE stalked the early pace from the three path, picked up the chase passing the half mile pole then weakened at the rail on the far turn. SWIPE THAT CANDY raced in the four path the first turn, left the turn outside and gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn about the five path and showed little in the lane. JUJU ON DA BEAT settled off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase past the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. Butterfly World became fractious in the gate and was a late scratch.
