Chart notes
PORK CHOP PETE pulled himself to a slim lead at the five sixteenths pole and rated the pace, drew away at the rail through the turn and was kept alert in the stretch. MIC'D UP engaged in close chase through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn then dueled through the stretch for second. BERTRAM FLIGHT gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. SHOW TIME ALLEN gave chase, raced at the rail into the turn, angled to the five path leaving the turn and finished evenly. CHASENJOHNATHAN chased inside, eased outward leaving the turn and passed some rivals. EL PACHO gave chase, raced in the four path on the turn and weakened in the lane. WHALE OF A RUN veered out leaving the gate and was not a factor. HARLEY SIOUX was shuffled back at the start then gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path, left the turn outside and weakened in the lane.
