Chart notes
CARDINAL WAR CRY stalked the early pace three wide, then was coaxed along on the turn and ranged up on the pacesetter three wide by the quarter pole, came four wide off the bend and took over and then drew off smartly to prove much the best under mild urging. WARRIOR'S DEFENSE chased the early pace on the outside, advanced four wide on the turn and came five wide off the bend and finished willingly while no match to the winner while clearly second best. IRISH COCO chased the early pace from between rivals, then was two to three wide on the turn, then lacked a serious rally while getting up for the show award. BEEN REAL BUSY was settled early towards the outside, then moved in and was two to three wide on the turn, angled out late and improved position. FIREBALL EXPRESS was away alertly to set the early pace while clear on the inside, raced in the two path on the turn and was confronted by the winner by the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. FLEETING EMBER broke in a tangle at the start and trailed, then was four to five wide on the turn and had no rally. MY HONEYBUNCH tracked the pace on the inside and weakened. BESS' CANDY chased the pace on the inside and fell back on the turn, angled out in the lane and was empty.
