Chart notes
ROMANCE BY CHANCE was away alertly to set the pace along the inside, was well handled and turned back the bid from HOPEFORGREATNESS leaving the turn and shook clear to prove best under a drive. HOPEFORGREATNESS stalked the pace and made a three wide bid by the quarter pole but hung in the lane while being clearly second best. PERFECT PINK chased the pace three wide and was two to three wide on the turn, tipped out four wide leaving the turn and had a mild late kick to gain the show award bu needed more. EACHPEACHPEARPLUM tracked the early pace, saved ground on the turn but faded in the drive while clearly besting the rest. PRINCESS JESSICA was slammed hard at the break, then recovered to be reserved early, took to the outside on the turn to advance, came six wide off the bend and had a belated rally. CHARLOTTE'S POTTER broke in and bumped a rival at the start, then trailed early and was never a threat. SUNSHINE THEFT chased the pace on the inside and wilted. STROKE OF LUCK failed to menace.
