Chart notes
PINK ROSE set the pace from the inside and was well rated on the front end, then was challenged by the quarter pole, then was sent down leaving the turn and responded well to shake clear again the remained clear to the wire under mild urging in the final sixteenth. LA MACCHINA ROSSA was well paced along the inside, made a two to three wide bid by the quarter pole to loom boldly but flattened out in the lane while being clearly second best. BOOTSY'S MERLOT was taken back early, advanced three wide on the far turn and was put to crop urging by the five sixteenths and came four wide off the bend and gained the show award while clearly besting the rest. MO TRAFFIC was five wide into the first turn, tracked the pace from the outside and then was three wide into the far turn and dropped down to the inside on the turn and tired. ZIFFY BUG stalked the early pace in between rivals and then chased the pace three wide by the half mile marker and stopped on the turn. HUSHEMUP was four wide into the first turn, then stalked the pace in between rivals by the half mile marker and then gave way and stopped.
