Chart notes
COAL BATTLE unhurried in the beginning, raced outside around the final turn, drifted out down the stretch, drove clear and proved the best. A MILLION MOONS vied for the early lead, drove clear, saved ground, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. CONTRABANDIST raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout, was close throughout, but proved no match for the top two. MAP OF DONEGAL void of early speed and passed tired ones. BERGHEIM raced evenly near the back, saved ground and was never a factor. ROMEO SPIKES pressed the early pace, raced outside around the final turn, finished wide down the lane and dropped back. WARRIOR AND A HALF showed brief speed, dropped back, was distanced and walked off.
