Chart notes
SEPTARIAN broke a step slow and inward, regrouped and accelerated inside rivals to reach a stalking spot after a furlong, had to idle briefly when wanting to initially angle out nearing the quarter pole, was able to shift out soon into the lane and set his sights on the leader, closed in determinedly to engage SAY ME TRUE in mid stretch, got the better of that one leaving the sixteenth marker then drew clear while kept to task. SAY ME TRUE , bumped at the break, took control early and set a rated pace towards the inside, responded to pressure soon into the lane, dug in when joined in mid stretch, battled past the sixteenth pole, gave way grudgingly and remained clear for the place. SHOOTERSGOTTASHOOT prompted the pace outside the leader, was shoved along with strong pursuit past the five sixteenths, shifted out a path with continued chase in upper stretch and kept on trying. CHIPOTLE , between foes nearing the turn, shifted out some in upper stretch, angled back in past mid stretch but went even late. MISSION ARTEMIS rated off foes early, circled four wide with a mild run into the stretch, drifted out briefly before corrected, chased past mid stretch then faded. AMY'S MUSIC broke inward bumping a rival, was caught three wide between horses early, was under a ride three to four wide past the five sixteenths but came up empty. CALLE DE ORO , bumped at the break, dropped back off the early pace then lost ground four wide, continued wide nearing the stretch, shifted in and faded.
