Chart notes
HAPPY TAPPY TIM dueled for the lead along the inside, then steadied entering the turn and then recovered and made a two to three wide bid by the quarter pole, then was floated out five wide leaving the turn and then slowly edged clear in the final furlong to prove best under a drive. OLIVE KAT dueled for the early lead three wide, then made a two wide bid and drew clear on the turn, then was engaged to the outside by HAPPY TAPPY TIM leaving the turn, floated that rival out and then dug in and dueled to the furlong marker and then was out-kicked in the final sixteenth, second best. MS MERRABEL was settled early, four wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane and had a late rally. TESTED POSITIVE was off a step slow, reserved early and saved ground on the turn and had a belated rally. TUDOR PEAK was between rivals early, then was rated back and moved out to stalked the pace three wide on the turn but came up empty in the drive.
