Chart notes
HORACE MANN was forwardly placed racing just off the top pair in the early going, prompted around the far turn, swung four paths wide into upper stretch, kept on determinedly and drew clear. TRACK PHANTOM was positioned just off the leader in early stages, challenged GULFSTREAM WAY for the lead around the far turn, continued to battle into the lane, got overtaken near the furlong marker and kept on. GULFSTREAM WAY sped to the lead and crossed over soon after the start, took on the challenge of TRACK PHANTOM around the far turn, dueled inside of foe into the stretch and failed to keep pace late. ROCKET CAN rated two wide near mid-pack, hustled along three wide into upper stretch, showed interest and just missed show. ACCRETIVE was allowed to settle off the early pace, made a move between foes around the far turn, hustled along two wide into upper stretch and needed more for late impact. BROMLEY raced off the early pace, was prompted around the far turn, swung two wide into the lane and lacked a needed rally. ARRO SMASH raced just off midpack outside, hustled along four to five wide into the stretch and failed to move on. FULL SCREEN raced in range near the inside, tipped two wide in the upper stretch and weakened. CONDEMN raced near the back, came five paths wide into stretch and never threatened. LOFTY ADJUDICATOR raced in range briefly then steadily weakened. BLUE DEVIL failed to move into contention.
