Chart notes
CHISMOSA lacked early quickness then advanced off the rail up the backstretch, moved into striking distance two then three wide on the turn, closed in and latched onto BIG SUMMER midstretch, dueled in the final sixteenth and dug in to edge the runner-up. BIG SUMMER bobbled leaving the gate, tracked the speed off the inside, drew closer leaving the backstretch, bid three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, dueled outside PUSHINESS with a quarter mile remaining, seized command in upper stretch, put PUSHINESS away midstretch while but was immediately challenged by CHISMOSA from outside, battled in deep stretch and yielded grudgingly in the end. PUSHINESS took a bump from SAFA at the start, sped clear and crossed over, showed the way up the backstretch, challenged by BIG SUMMER at the five-sixteenths pole, fought on even terms with a quarter mile remaining, lost command in upper stretch, yielded to the new leader past the eighth pole and churned on to secure the show honors. ROBERTA'S LOVE was prominent early to the inside of PUSHINESS then stalked from outside once that rival crossed over at the five-eighths pole, followed closely to the turn, asked two wide around the bend but failed to respond and weakened down the lane. SAFA broke in and bumped PUSHINESS, chased out of range on the inside into the turn, raced a bit off the rail into the lane and lacked a rally. IRISH WAHINE dropped back early, trailed four wide into the turn, moved into the three path around the bend, tip back to the four path entering the lane and failed to make an impact. BACK ON TRACK settled off the pace, took the turn three wide and was never a factor.
