Chart notes
FAHAN challenged for the early lead, took command around the final turn, drove clear and won under steady urging. SAMMY DANSEUR JR. reserved in the early going, racing in the middle of the pack, moved up on the inside around the final turn, angled out, made a stretch bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. BAYOU JAM lacked early speed, racing in the back, made a wide gain and was outfinished for second. HOSTILE AFLEET raced within striking distance, lacked a late kick and finished evenly. SIR ELI pressed the pace, weakened and was no threat late. AFFIRM CHIEF dueled for the early advantage, saved ground and was finished early. MILITARY BEARING always raced near the back and showed little. SADIE'S LIGHT trailed throughout and was outrun.
