Chart notes
ELLIPTIC was settled early and made way to the inside, then advanced and tracked the leaders on the inside on the turn, angled out when straightened off the bend to make a bid, then moved out and bumped BACKSTRETCH ROSE leaving the sixteenth marker and then dueled with that rival to the wire and won the bob to prove best. BACKSTRETCH ROSE was settled early, advanced four to five wide on the turn, came six wide off the bend and closed well to gain a short advantage inside the furlong grounds and then was bumped leaving the sixteenth marker and then just missed. ENIGMATIC was off a beat slow, then rushed up to get to the front to set the pace while unchallenged, then raced towards the inside and was two wide off the bend and was outfinished by the top two wide staying on for the show award. DUCKPHAT was off a step slow, lagged behind for five furlongs, saved ground on the turn and cut the corner leaving the turn and had a belated rally to gain the last spot in the superfecta. BROOKLYN DANTZ chased the early pace, saved ground on the turn but lacked the needed bid. BOBBY JEAN was close up early on the inside, then shifted off the inside to track the leaders three wide on the turn, came four wide off the bend and faded. LA VITA SOFIA chased the early pace, then was three to four wide on the turn and came five wide off the bend and had no rally. ROMAN GODDESS chased the early pace, between rivals on the turn and had no rally. JOCKEYS OBJECTION the number seven BACKSTRETCH ROSE against the number three ELLIPTIC concerning the run in the final furlong, after the STEWARDS reviewed the video replays they decided no change and the OBJECTION was DISALLOWED.
