Chart notes
APPEAL DENIED set the pace inside of a pair of pressers around the turn, drew clear in the two path in upper stretch and held sway. ONCOMING TRAIN laid off of the pace in the three path, split foes in the four path in midstretch to edge place and was closing in on the clear leader late. KANT BEAT THE ROCK pressed three wide, yielded getting floated to the five to six path in upper stretch, yet kept on between horses in the final sixteenth to dead-heat for show. READY PURSUIT laid off of the pace in the four path, swung out to the six to seven path into upper stretch and ran on to reach a dead-heat for show. MONTEREY PENINSULA stalked along the inside, pursued from the two path around the turn, vied for place with outer rivals while chasing in the three path in upper stretch, but yielded late. WOODYTHEBIDSPOTTER prompted two wide and between horses, vied around the turn, yielded to his inner counterpart while drifting to the four to five path in upper stretch and faded between rivals in the final furlong. GLOBAL STAGE was erratic at the start spotting the rest multiple lengths, trailed while hung in the five path around the turn and got outrun.
