Chart notes
BAYTOWN BEATLE angled to the inside and rated the pace, was urged away from the five sixteenths pole, widened at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled to hold on well. GUILTED stalked from the four path the opening turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and held on in a later duel for second. BAYTOWN SHINJUKU raced well back in the three path the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn about the three path, dug in to take third mid-stretch but was outfinished in the later duel for second. GALA STAR stalked the early pace from the three path, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole and raced at the rail on the far turn, then flattened stride in the lane. TREE OF DEM stalked inside, gave chase from the three eighths pole but faded leaving the five sixteenths. SUPER COMMANDERS was unprepared for the break and raced well back in the five path the first turn, left the turn wide and was not a factor. MISS NINE ONE O saved ground.
