Chart notes
PHANTOM QUEEN dueled for the lead nearing the three eighths pole, kept the nod nearest the rail on the turn and dug in determinedly to hold on. BREAKING RULES engaged in close chase and drew to even terms three wide leaving the turn, then dueled through the stretch for second. KRISTINACHRYSALIS engaged in close chase through the backstretch, dueled to near even terms four wide entering the lane but was outfinished in the duel for second. INTEGRATED DESIGN chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path and ran evenly in the lane. TRUE INDY gave chase, rounded the turn off the rail, eased out entering the stretch then flattened mid-stretch. WINDSOR'S PLAY set a pressured early pace then engaged in close chase, raced close two deep on the turn then flattened toward mid-stretch. VALID REASON appeared off stride, was pulled up shortly after the start and walked off.
