Chart notes
RYNO WRECKER set the pace shortly away from the gate, set a well measured pace, kicked clear turning for home and held the runner-up safe through the lane. MIDNIGHT COUNCIL stalked the leader into the turn, rallied in a drive on the bend to threaten nearing the quarter pole, could not get passed the winner and kept-on chasing that one to the wire. NORTH SHIP prompted the early pace into the turn, could not go with the top pair and kept-on through the lane to hold the show. CALL IT A NIGHT unhurried in the early going, made a steady advance to be prominent in mid-stretch and flattened out late in the lane. ZAPTASTIC reserved off the pace in mid-pack on the outside down the backside, rallied eight wide to the top of the lane and finished evenly unable to sustain the bid. RED RIZZLER raced in early contention and faded on the turn. POP THE CORK was attempting to lug-in down the backside while well held off his inside rival, dropped back on the turn and was no factor.
