Chart notes
UNWRITTEN CODE away quickest from the gate, fought inside INNER BEAUTY (IRE) for command to the turn, inched clear around the bend, showed the way into deep stretch and remained clear under a drive. SATOSHI chased from inside into the turn, followed behind the leader around the bend, moved off the fence a bit in the drive, could not threaten the winner late and was able to hold second. A REAL JEWEL stalked the top pair from outside, took the turn three wide and failed to get by SATOSHI for second. CHAMPAGNE CAMIE hustled rom the gate, chased along the rail, tipped two wide into the lane, steered out from behind rivals in the final furlong and showed a mild response to close the gap late. INNER BEAUTY (IRE) went up to fight for the lead from outside, failed to keep up at the quarter pole and chased two wide to the stretch, then weakened down the lane. RED DIAMOND trailed under coaxing early, saved ground around the bend, moved in the lane and was outrun.
