Chart notes
JOHNNY APPLESEED was taken back at the start to settled, rallied on the turn and was five wide in upper stretch, closed fast on the outside and drew off in the end. ONE LAST THING set a pressured pace while two wide into the turn, was in a long drive and gamely dug in and held the place safe in the end. BREAKING THE BANK saved ground on the turn then rallied two wide in the stretch, was gaining ground but hung in late stretch. CLASSIC RUNNER rallied four wide on the turn making a bid in upper stretch but came up empty in late stretch. PRETTY MACHO pressed the pace while inside, was in a long drive then weakened in the stretch drive. NEVER OVER ME chased the early pace while three wide, made a bid on the turn to late stretch then faltered. CLEARWATER SUNSET was unhurried early then raced three wide on the turn and was no threat.
