Chart notes
LOVE THE SAUCE was hustled to the lead leaving the chute and rated the pace, came under pressure nearing the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn then kept sharp to hold on well, although she was unsaddled on the clubhouse turn and vanned off post race. TANGERINEGINGER gave chase, improved off the rail on the turn and settled for second. SAINT DEVEREAUX gave chase and raced close at the rail on the turn then weakened into the lane. BIG BOLT closed swiftly toward contention, but brushed the rail and had her heels clipped past the five sixteenths pole and showed little more leaving the turn. HEY MACARENA gave chase then weakened off the rail on the turn. KIMSFAVORITESTORM gave chase, raced about the three path on the turn and showed little in the lane. HIDDEN RIVER was never a factor and raced wide on the turn. MIDCENTURY MODERN gave chase, clipped the heels of Big Bolt and fell past the five sixteenths pole, but got up and walked off. There was a Stewards inquiry to review the incident past the five sixteenths pole.
