Chart notes
MR. PESCE accelerated to the early lead, set the pace along the inner rail, responded to brisk urging in mid stretch and pulled away. A B C YA lacked speed, swung very wide in upper stretch and rallied outside horses. PINE ALLEY saved ground on the turn, eased off the rail at the head of the stretch, angled out in mid stretch and rallied mildly. BOX OF ROCKETS bumped BAND TOUR when bearing in at the break, chased the pace in the two path around the turn and weakened. BAJAN BOY raced four wide on the turn and failed to rally. NORTHERN CARDINAL stayed along the inner rail around the turn, chased the pace and gave way. LUCKED IN , steadied leaving the starting gate, was very wide turning for home and showed a late move. STORMY HOLLOW stayed well off the inner rail through out and was not a factor. HUNDRED PROOF was outrun. BAND TOUR stumbled then was bumped leaving the starting gate.
