Chart notes
PREACHER vied for the lead from the inside down the backstretch then moved up and battled around the turn and took the lead going into the stretch and held on. OUTRIGHT raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the turn then made a rail bid in the stretch but couldn't catch the winner but proved second best. TAP THE BRAKES trailed the field through the turn then angled out to six wide in upper stretch and had his best strides late. PRINCE OTTO prompted the pace from three wide and tipped out to four wide in upper stretch looking to make a late run but was outfinished. WILD FIREMAKER stalked the pace from four wide then went five wide in upper stretch but was empty. PAYNTER'S BOY saved ground through the turn then made a mild late bid to improve position. RIVERSPORT showed no early speed, went six wide in upper stretch but lacked the late response. KICKIN' CHARLIE sprinted to a clear lead to the turn then was challenged around the turn and gave way.
