Chart notes
SHARP AZ CAN BE away alertly, set the pace into the stretch, drifted to the seven path at the head of the lane, was put to right handed urging, gave up the lead briefly, came on again to regain the lead past the furlong marker, drifted out inside the sixteenth pole and edged clear under strong handling. LIAM'S LASS had speed from the start along the inside, inherited the lead as the winner drifted wide entering the stretch then finished second best. FLOWER MOUND chased the pace into the stretch, was carried out to the eighth path at the head of the lane, kept on, was shut off inside the sixteenth pole causing her rider to check then finished determinedly. LADY WELLINGTON raced outside into the stretch and finished evenly. CANDYMONIUM trailed. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF FLOWER MOUND LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH AND THROUGH THE FINAL STAGES. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED SHARP AZ CAN BE AND PLACED HER THIRD.
