MAXIMUS ANGELICUS controlled the pace, widened when ready on the final turn then quickly extended her advantage while under wraps through the final eighth. VAGUE outrun early, advanced inside on the final turn and was easily second best. FUR ELISE trailed early then offered some energy outside in the stretch. MARY LOVES LOUIE raced within range for three quarters and gave way. ALYVIA MAVIS made a menacing wide bid on the final turn then faltered in the stretch. CAROUSEL QUEEN prompted the winner for five furlongs and stopped. MISS SMARTY Z stumbled at the start then stopped losing contact with her field.
