Chart notes
PLANE TALK was bumped at the break, vied for the early lead in between rivals and then dueled for command two wide off the bend, then slowly edged clear in the furlong grounds and then kept GOLDEN ALE safe late to prove best under a drive. GOLDEN ALE was taken back early and moved to the inside on the turn, swung out four wide leaving the turn and moved out farther in the lane and closed well. LOVE MY JIMMY broke outwardly and bumped a foe slightly, vied for the lead on the inside and then dueled off the bend while cutting the corner but faded late while getting the bob for the show award. GOOD BYE CHARLIE vied for the lead on the outside, three to four wide on the turn and faded in the drive missing the show award. ANNIE'S BOY tracked the pace three to four wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and had no kick.
