Chart notes
JED chased the leader up the backstretch, challenged while saving ground around the turn, drifted out in upper stretch, bumping with MARKETING CANYON and dug in to the wire to hold the win. MARKING CANYON raced off the pace on the inside early, began a bid from the three path coming around the bend, was bumped by JED in upper stretch when that rival drifted into his lane and gained ground late from there. MAXIMUM BULL tracked the pace setter up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and chased on in the lane. LEAVE THEM BEHIND led the way up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and faded in the stretch. VALENTINO WHO trailed the field through the opening stages, began a bid while saving ground around the turn and flattened out in the stretch. PLAYTHEMARKER stumbled leaving the gate, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, dropped back while racing in the three path around the bend and continued to tire from there. THE RIDER OF HORSE TWO, MARKING CANYON, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE SIX, JED, CITING INTERFERENCE IN LATE STRETCH. UPON REVIEW, HORSE SIX, JED, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SECOND.
