Chart notes
BABY MAX trailed in the two path, paused behind rivals leaving the three furlong pole, split foes two wide launching a rally entering the lane, tipped outside of the top pair to bid along with an outer rival leaving the furlong grounds, gained an advantage entering the final sixteenth and held from his outer counterpart. LURED AWAY laid off of the pace in the three to four path, progressed along with an inner rival in upper stretch, bid in the final furlong but was kept at bay late. SOUTH BEND TOM set the pace in the two path, vied with an outer rival around the far turn, repelled that challenge and inched free entering midstretch, but was confronted by a wider pair of bidders in the final furlong and got bested with a sixteenth to go. GALLO DE FUEGO pressed the leader from the three path, vied around the far turn, but yielded between horses leaving upper stretch. COALMOON was very fractious in the starting gate, raced off of the pace along the inside, moved to the two path with five furlongs to go, pursued between horses into the far turn, tucked down turning for home, chased into the lane and lacked a bid. SUPER SNOOP stalked outside of the top pair and from the four path, chased them from the three path around the far turn and weakened between horses entering the lane. IL MARCHESSE tracked along the inside, but faded entering the far turn and was done early.
