PERRY COUNTY sprinted to the front, drove clear, saved ground around the final turn, pulled away and was kept to the task. KEVIN'S STRIKE void of early speed, moved up on the outside around the second turn, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. SPAMALOT pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout and proved no match for the top two. MISCHIEVOUS SMILE raced within contention, stumbled around the first turn, getting in tight quarters and faded around the final turn. SILENT RAGE hopped at start, lacked early speed, saved ground around the second turn and was never close. PRACTICALLY GIVEN raced within striking distance, dropped back and was outrun.
