Chart notes
K P SILVER BULLET with the second flight inside, shifted out two wide in upper stretch, split horses to make the lead near the furlong marker and drew clear under strong handling. DYRDEK vied for the lead three and four wide and finished well clear for second. UPTOWN GUY away alertly, set the pace into the turn, gave up a narrow lead, dug in determinedly to match stride until deep stretch then weakened. ROCK ON KITTEN offered a mild bid three wide on the turn then leveled off. LOCK ON close up, failed to respond. SLIPPERY WHEN WET was no factor. TOYI was no threat. ONEMORANDTHECHECK prompted the pace two wide into the turn, gained a narrow lead, battled to the furlong marker, suffered a catastrophic injury, pulled up and was euthanized.
