TRUE PHENOMENON set the pace on the inside, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch run, battled back determinedly inside of ALCALA in the final sixteenth and prevailed in a driving finish. ALCALA stalked close up two wide, then pressed the pace, bid on the turn, dueled past the quarter pole, gained a short lead, dug in gamely in the two path to the finish and needed a bit more. AMY MULE raced two wide off the pace, then inside on the turn, moved up on the rail, angled out at the sixteenth marker, closed well late in the three path and was gaining at the end. MISSY SIXTYSIX tracked the leaders, chased on the turn, came three wide into the stretch and finished evenly. CIVIL NOTION raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn and had no rally.
