Chart notes
SHARP SMILE came away well from the outside post, disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the four then three path on the turn, shook clear at the quarter-pole, responded well under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, drifted out in the final furlong and held under steady urging. KISS ME SLOW was forced in at the start, settled near the back while inside of foes, chased while moving from the inside to the two path on the turn, was driven four wide into upper stretch, drifted out under a left-handed crop outside the eighth-pole, gained gradually on the winner while carried out in the final furlong and willingly earned the place. SHE'S FASCINATING broke in and was last to commence, settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the three then four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path, drifted out outside the furlong marker and weakened but was clear for the show. VANILLA SUNDAE was away alertly, showed the way down the backstretch with company further to the outside, lost the lead while asked in the two path on the turn, dropped back while remaining on her inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead outside the furlong marker and tired. KEEPTHEDREAMALIVE was urged along at the rear, moved to the outside before the five-eighths pole, lost touch with the rest of the field while in the five then four path on the turn, drifted inward in upper stretch and showed little.
