MY MAGIC WAND moved out early then pressed the pace on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path then re-engaged the leader, took the advantage at the furlong marker, drifted in some near the sixteenth-pole and proved best under steady handling. GEOPOLITICS showed the way while well off the inside, went around the turn in the three path, came out to the five path into upper stretch, lost the advantage at the furlong marker, was carried in some near the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished whlie well clear for the place. CAROL T broke out and brushed with a foe, was urged along towards the rear, traveled around the turn in the two path, spun into the stretch in the three path and showed good courage to get the show. SPIRIT OF ESTHER was away alertly from the inside post, settled under some coaxing, saved ground under stronger encouragement on the turn and lacked the needed response. AUNT YOLA brushed with a foe at the start, was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the four to five path and came up empty. SCARLET'S DREAM was urged along off the pace, raced in the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the four path then moved to the six path around the three-sixteenths pole and failed to respond. GREGORIAN SOLO was urged along at the rear, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the turn and was no factor.
