FANTASTICAL traded brushes with an outer rival soon after the start, pursued from midpack in the four path, sustained gradual progress closing on the top pair in the final furlong, offered a late bid and got up at the wire. HIGH FASHION KATE exchanged light contact with an inner rival after the start, stalked in the three to two path around the turn, bid outside of the leader in upper stretch dueled with that one while consistently requiring correction to keep from lugging in, sparred into deep stretch but got nailed by an outer bidder at the wire. GIRL OF MY DREAMS showed the way building a loose advantage into the turn, met an outer challenge in upper stretch, dug in gamely while dueling through the final furlong, but got outkicked at the wire and missed place. MORNING MIRACLE tracked two wide and between horses, chased while failing to sustain position nearing the lane, swung out five wide in upper stretch, changed leads entering the final furlong and ran on for a minor share. LA LA ROSE stalked the leader from the two path into the turn, chased along the inside into upper stretch and lacked a bid. LA FORET was bumped by an outer rival and steadied out of tight rail quarters early on, trailed in the two path and moved up through the lane. KICK A RHYME (IRE) tracked along the inside, tipped out to the three path to chase between horses in upper stretch, but yielded in the final furlong. KRICKLE pursued from midpack in the three path and between horses, chased in the five to four path in upper stretch and failed to factor. KATIE'S CHECKRIDE lacked speed in the three to four path before swinging to the six path into upper stretch, and made little impact. ICE QUEEN lacked early speed despite being hustled out of the gate, bumped an inner rival early on, laid off of the pace along the inside and tired.
