Chart notes
PATIENCE WILL PAY raced within striking distance, moved up entering the final turn, came around the turn on the outside, took command, pulled away and won handily. SWEET TALKIN SLICK bobbled and stumbled at the start, racing in the back, moved up on the inside around the final turn, angled out, made a bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. MY SPECIAL STAR showed early speed, forwardly placed throughout, saved ground and was outfinished for second. TAP THE TEQUILA lacked early speed, had an outside trip, showed late interest, but was no factor. DEWCLAW pressed the early pace, racing between rivals and faded down the home stretch. JACQUE COUTEAU raced within contention, came around the second turn on the outside and dropped back. BIG NICKEL flashed brief speed and made a steady retreat.
