GENERAL BANKER was urged along on the outside while in a good position behind the dueling leaders, came under stronger encouragement in the three path on the turn, made a bid in the five path into the stretch then took a short lead, drifted out under a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was denied while clear for the place. B D SAINTS broke awkwardly and was off a step slow, raced off the pace under urging, traveled around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, came into the stretch in the four path and finished willingly for the show. DOC SULLIVAN was ridden along off the pace, climbed badly outside the five-eighths pole then moved to the outside, went around the turn in the four path, dropped to the rail into upper stretch and improved to just get the last spot in the superfecta. KAZ SUGAR BANK dropped back while urged along, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into the stretch in the seven path, moved inward in the drive and also improved position but just missed the last spot in the superfecta.
