J B STRIKES BACK pressed the pace from outside in the two then three path on the clubhouse turn, headed the leader past the three-eighths pole, emerged clear with a quarter mile remaining, showed the way with a comfortable lead into the final furlong, was asked right handed once midstretch and then ridden out to the wire. SPEED GRAZY stalked between rivals into the first turn then in the two path, roused two then three wide on the second bend, chased in range of the winner down the stretch but had to settle for second best. WENDELSSOHN bobbled leaving the gate, stalked inside a trio of rivals into the first turn, challenged inside the top pair past the three-eighths pole, failed to sustain the bid and gave chase again with a quarter mile remaining, weakened in the lane but managed to outlast BOLT AT MIDNIGHT for third. BOLT AT MIDNIGHT grabbed the lead and set a pressure past along the rail, headed by the winner past the three-eighths pole, yielded a quarter mile out, weakened down the lane and lost third. MICI'S EXPRESS tracked three deep early, trailed up the backstretch under coaxing, rounded the far turn in the two path, went two to three wide into the lane, eased in the drive and walked off.
